Our Mission
The mission of the Center for Aphasia Research and Rehabilitation (CARR) is to foster collaboration among faculty members, research associates, and speech-language pathologists with the goal of integrating their research on aphasia, stroke, dementia, and normal cognition into the creation of more effective aphasia treatments. CARR’s members include the Cognitive Neuropsychology Lab, the Cognitive Recovery Lab, and the DeMarco Advanced Research in Neurorehabilitation Lab.
